Gardai are examining the scene of a shooting in Co Louth last night.

A man in his forties was seriously injured when he was shot at a number of times outside a house in Termonfeckin at around half past nine.
He is being treated at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Drogheda where his condition is said to be serious.
