Gardaí Investigate Reports That Several People Were Present In Kerry Appartment Where Baby Died

Gardaí are investigating reports that there were a number of people present in an apartment in Kerry where a 11 month old baby died last Sunday.

The child's father, who also sustained injuries in the flat in Killarney at the time of the infant's death, died in hospital yesterday.

Detectives say the results of the baby's post-mortem will direct the course of their investigation, but the findings are not being released to the public for operational reasons.
