Gardaí are investigating a hit and run incident in Kilrush yesterday.

A Skoda Octavia parked on Francis Street was crashed into by another vehicle, sometime between 11.30 in the morning and 3 o'clock yesterday afternoon.
The other vehcile left the scene and on inspection, Gardaí discovered a significant dent on the rear of the car and evidence of broken tail lights on the ground.
Clare's Crime Prevention Officer, Sergeant Joe Downey is appealing for any witnesses to come forward.
