Extensive enquiries have been carried out in Ireland and abroad but there’s been no positive identification of the deceased so far.

On Tuesday May 22nd the body of a man was taken from the sea off the Cliffs of Moher  – the Gardai in Ennistymon say he hasn’t been identified despite efforts here and through interpol, and they’ve issued more details about the deceased man this afternoon.

He’s a white male, approximately 30 years old, and around 5′ 10" tall – He has dark hair on the side and back of his head, but is predominantly bald on top.

He was wearing a  black ‘MAIER’ rain/sports jacket with grey sleeves and a black stripe, a grey ‘Dunnes Stores’ Hoodie, with the word ‘BROOKLYN 62’ stamped on the left chest, a white ‘Addidas’ t-shirt, and a Black Casio  Sports watch

An admission ticket for O’Brien’s Tower at the Cliffs of Moher was found in his jacket pocket as was a Bus Eireann timetable, from Galway to Doolin, so it’s believed he may have travelled from Galway
