Gardaí hunting stolen 500 euro notes

Clare gardaí  are urging businesses to be on the lookout for a series of recently stolen 500 euro notes.

A number of notes – which are the largest euro denomination, were part of a sum of money taken during a recent crime in the Killaloe area.

Officers say one distinguishing feature on the back of the 500 euro notes is the letter Z at the start of the serial number.
