Gardaí Dealing With Flash Floods As Heavy Showers Move Across Clare

Emergency services are dealing with a major flash flood in Ennis as heavy showers move across the county.

Gardaí and units from the Fire Service are working to drain water away from the road beneath railway bridge at Corrovorrin.

Motorists are being urged to avoid the area completely until it’s been dealt with.

Issues are also being reported on the R352 Ennis/Tulla Road, while surface water is present on some roads around Shannon.
