One man has been taken to hospital following a road traffic collision involving a vehicle and a cyclist.
The accident occurred on the N18 dual carriage way at around 3:30 p.m. close to the Sixmilebridge turn-off (Junction 7) on the southbound portion of the route.

The collision occurred between a vehicle and a male cyclist who was treated at the scene before being taken to UHL with what are described as serious injuries.
The road was closed for a time, but re-opened before 7:00 p.m.
