Gardaí are continuing their investigation into a serious public order incident involving a number of males in Ennis.
The incident occurred on the Mill Road at 3:30 last Wednesday and one male who fled the scene was later apprehended and detained at Ennis Garda Station.

He was subsequently charged with a number of offences under the Criminal Justice, Firearms and Offensive Weapons and Non-Fatal Offences Against The Person Acts, before being remanded in custody at Ennis District Court.
