Three people remain in Garda custody in connection with the discovery of almost 450 thousand euro worth of cannabis in two houses in Kilkee.
At around 10 o’clock yesterday morning, Gardaí discovered 200 plants with an estimated street value of 160-thousand euro following the search of a house at Lislanahan in Kilkee.
A man and a woman – both aged 23 – were arrested and are currently being held at Kilrush Garda station under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act. .
A second property in Tullaroe, Kilkee, was also searched yesterday afternoon, where around 300 cannabis plants with an estimated street value of 280-thousand euro were discovered.
A man in his 50s was arrested and is currently being held at Ennis Garda station under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice Act.
