The head of the Ennis Garda Division has confirmed that a number of vehicles have been seized as part of an investigation into the discharge of a firearm in Ennis.
Gardaí responded to reports of a number of shots being fired in the Cloughleigh area of the town at 5pm on Wednesday evening.

A number of searches were carried out in the Ennis area that evening and multiple vehicles were seized in the process.
Video footage of the incident was widely circulated on social media and is believed to be in relation to an ongoing feud in the area.
Superintendent John Galvin says multiple individuals are believed to have been involved.
