Gardaí say they’re very concerned for the wellbeing of a man believed to be the victim of an alleged abduction in Cavan yesterday.

The 31-year-old victim is believed to be Richard O’Donovan – who is known to Gardaí.
At about half past three yesterday afternoon a silver BMW jeep – with the registration number 03 MN – struck Mr O’Donovan’s BMW 3 series in the Swiftbrook Glen Estate.
The occupants of the jeep then bundled the man into their vehicle and drove away at speed.
