Gardaí were called to assist members of Clare's County Fire Service after they came under attack while responding to a bonfire call-out.
Fire fighters were subject to verbal and physical abuse while attending one of 16 bonfire incidents over the past week.
Crews tended to fires in Kilrush, Shannon, Ennis and Newmarket-On-Fergus and also took part in the removal of constructed bonfires in conjuction with the Gardaí and the Environment Section of Clare County Council.
The cost of this year's call-outs is estimated at 15,500 euro. Chief Fire Officer Adrian Kelly has told Clare FM that it was a busy period once again this year.
