Gardaí are carrying out a search in Co. Louth today as part of the investigation into the disappearance of Ciara Breen.

The 17 year old went missing from her home on Bachelor's Walk in Dundalk in February 1997.
Last year Gardaí received a number of anonymous letters and reports of new information on her disappearance.
A man who was known to Ciara Breen was arrested in April of this year, but was later released without charge.
Gardaí are carrying out a search of land in the Dundalk area today, and will issue an update on the case this afternoon.
