The 70 year old tourist was discovered yesterday afternoon.
Gardai are awaiting assistance from interpol in tracing her family.
A build up of gas in the camper van is not believed to have been a factor in her death – however a postmortem will be carried out at University Hospital Limerick this afternoon.
Her pet dog, who was found with her – is being cared for by vets in Ennis.
