Emergency Services are at the scene of a road traffic collision in Ennis.
Traffic disruption is expected to occur on the Gort Road Ennis for a time this evening following an earlier collision.
A car is understood to have collided with an ESB pole on the R458 outbound from Ennis near the Gort Road Industrial Estate.
Units of Clare County Fire and Rescue Service from Ennis station responded to the incident along with National Ambulance Service paramedics and Gardaí.
An electricity pole was damage in the incident and has been left in a dangerous condition at the scene.
The occupants of the car were assessed by paramedics but didn’t require hospitalisation.
Fire crews have been operating an emergency traffic management system at the scene which is expected to be handed over to the ESB shortly.
Traffic is expected to be curtailed to a single lane for a time this evening.
