Clare Gardaí have arrested two youths in possession of offensive weapons.
Shortly before 2am on Saturday, August 28th, Gardaí received reports of suspicious activity in the Clancy Park area of Ennis and upon arrival they arrested a youth who was found in possession of two knives.

At 7.30pm that evening, Gardaí in Killaloe were also alerted to suspicious activity in Ballina, where they subsequently apprehended another youth in possession of two knives.
Both individuals will be dealt with under the Juvenile Liaison System.
