Gardaí are appealing for witnesses following a serious assault in Ennis over the weekend.
A man was found unconscious at around 3.30am on Abbey Street on Monday morning, with blood covering his face.

He was taken to University Hospital Limerick with non-life threatening injuries after medical assistance was administered at the scene.
Clare’s Crime Prevention Officer, Sergeant Tríona Brooks, is asking those who were in the area or may have camera footage of the incident to contact Ennis Garda Station on 065 6848100.
