Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to a break in to Kilrush Mart in the early hours of yesterday morning.

Thieves gained entry to the building by breaking a back window sometime between 2pm on Saturday and 9.30am yesterday morning, though the alarm was activated around 12.14am.
A number of items were taken and Gardaí believe more than one person would have been needed to transport the heavy goods.
