Gardaí are appealing to anyone in the Newmarket on Fergus area whose home or car was targetted by criminals in the early hours of this morning to come forward.

Five men remain in Garda custody this afternoon following a break-in to a home in Newmarket-On Fergus.
One man was arrested at the scene, while Gardaí later arrested four more men following a high-speed car chase to Limerick city.
