Ennis gardaí are investigating a spate of daylight burglaries at several housing estates off the Limerick Road in the past 24 hours.

Homes in Westfields, Toberteascain, College Park and College Green were all targeted at some stage between 8 am yesterday morning and 7 pm last night.
Among the property stolen was cash, coin, passports, credit cards, jewellery as well as the gold chain of the Office of Chartered Accountants in the Mid West.
