A Garda manhunt has been launched following a spate of burglaries in West and North Clare.
Houses were ransacked and money, jewellery and items of clothing were all stolen in break-ins in Mullagh, Fanore, Kildysart, Kilkee and Ennistymon.

All of the burglaries took place between 8am and 5pm last Wednesday.
Gardai say they believe a group of men in a black Subaru hatchback were all spotted in the area at the time and are appealing for anyone who may have spotted them to come forward.
