The Chairman of the Public Accounts Committee says there’s no indication yet whether Garda whistleblowers will definitely appear before the PAC, and if they do, whether it’ll be a public or private hearing.
The Committee is investigating claims that over 200 senior Gardai cancelled penalty points for family, friends and public figures.

PAC Chair John McGuinness says the whistleblowers felt they had no choice but to appear before a Dail committee.
