Garda warning as Bank Holiday draws to a close

Traffic levels across Clare are expected to be very heavy today, as the August bank Holiday weekend comes to a close.

This weekend is traditionally the busiest of the year on Clare’s roads, and Gardai will again be out in force today, monitoring speeding levels and carrying out alcohol breath tests.

Cyclists and pedestrians who take the opportunity to enjoy the bank holiday Monday are also being urged to exercise caution
