Gardaí are carrying out patrols in Clarecastle following acts of vandalism in a local park.
Apple trees that had been planted in the People’s Park by the Tidy Towns Committee were all uprooted sometime in the early hours of last Tuesday morning,
The trees were planted close to where shrubs had been planted and those shrubs were stolen some time ago.
