The parish priest of Kildysart says people in the West Clare village have been supporting each other in light of the violent deaths of a South Afican couple there on Wednesday night.

Gardaí have carried out a forensic examination of the scenes where Angelique and Cornelius Billing died after they had sustained stab wounds in what Gardaí are treating as a tragic domestic incident.
It's reported this morning that Angelique had recently made efforts to leave the country with her daughters, and that she was looking for a custody order to bring the children abroad.
Fr. Albert McDonnell, Parish Priest of Kildysart and Cranny/Coolmeen says the shocking incident has affected many in the community.
