A Garda investigation is underway after a pitch at Kinvara GAA club was damaged over the weekend.

The incident occured on Saturday night or early Sunday morning, when a car drove onto the pitch and performed a number of "doughnuts" and skid manoeuvers.
Kinvara GAA officials say the extent and cost of the damage will be assessed over the coming days.
The club's Vice-Chairman Derek Smyth has been telling me it's a hugely disappointing incident, but that the damage could have been even worse.
