A garda investigation is underway into a spate of burglaries in the Killaloe area.
At around 2.30am last Thursday, a shop on Convent Hill was entered and a quantity of electronic equipment and a safe containing cash was stolen.

Ten minutes later, a shop in Derg Court, Ballina was entered and the till drawer was stolen.
While a little later a shop in Cullina, Ballina was also entered during the night and a purse containing cash was stolen.
Gardaí say entry was gained to all these premises by forcing the front doors and they’re appealing to anyone with information on these incidents to contact their local garda station or the Garda Confidential Line 1800 666 111.
