Clare Gardai are warning that they will be out in force and monitoring drink driving this weekend.
While speeding has been the focus of a clamp down by Gardai this Bank Holiday weekend, Gardai also say they will be ensuring that people aren’t taking a drink before getting behind the wheel.
Superintendent Derek Smart of Ennis Garda Station says drink driving remains a problem here, but that officers will endeavor to put a stop to it.
