Garda Appeal For Witnesses After Man Discovered With Serious Head Injuries In Ennis

Gardaí are seeking the public’s help in establishing the circumstances surrounding the discovery of a man with serious head injuries in Ennis.

Emergency services were alerted around 9 o’clock last night, after the man in his mid-thirties was discovered unconscious on the footpath between the junction of Tobartascan and Station Road in the Clon Road area.

It’s understood the man, who lives locally, was out walking at the time. He has since been taken by ambulance to University Hospital Limerick for treatment, where he remains in a serious but stable condition.
