Gardaí are appealing for witnesses following a stabbing incident in West Clare.
A man in his mid-thirties presented at Kilrush Garda Station last Saturday night, with a stab wound to his lower back and outlined that shortly before 11pm, he was stabbed in the back by an unknown male on Crawford Street.

He was subsequently removed by ambulance to University Hospital Limerick for treatment.
Gardaí are appealing to anyone in the Crawford Street area at the time, who may have witnessed this incident, or anyone with dash cam footage to contact Kilrush Garda Station on 908 0550.
