Gort Gardaí are investigating a spate of burglaries across Galway and Clare which they believe are linked .
The crimes all took place in the early hours of last Sunday morning during which three businesses, two fast food restaurants, a pub and a private residence were targeted in Athenry, Kilcolgan, Kinvara and Lahinch.
Jewellery, cash, camera equipment and computers were taken during the break-ins’ and Gardaí believe up to four people were involved.
Superintendent Pat Murray of Gort Garda Station is leading the investigation and is appealing to anyone who may have spotted a light blue coloured ford focus at all four crime scenes to contact them.
