Gardaí are appealing for the public’s help in identifying a man who targetted an elderly woman in broad daylight as she finished a shopping trip in Ennis.
At around quarter past two last Thursday afternoon, the man sat into a lady’s car in the Dunnes Stores multi-story car park and attempted to steal her handbag.

The woman managed to fight him off, and he got away empty-handed.
