Gardaí are appealing for information after two vehicles in Kilrush were targeted by thieves on the same night.
The owner of a silver Peugeot 508 parked their car outside their home in the Dooneen Estate at 7 o’clock last Tuesday night and discovered around 7.30 the following morning a sum of money and a bank card was stolen from it.
The owner of a black Hyundai IX20, meanwhile, dicovered that four new Bosch glow plugs had been stolen from the boot of the vehicle, sometime between 7.30 that night and 2.30 on Wednesday afternoon.
Clare’s Crime Prevention Officer, Sergeant Catriona Holohan is appealing for information on the thefts.
“Gardaí are appealing to anyone that may have witnessed either of these incidents. Did you see anyone near a silver Peugeot 508 in the Donneen Estate on Tuesday night or anyone near a black Hyundai IX20 on John Street?
