Galway's Gavan Hennigan says he's proud to have become the fastest Irishman to row across the Atlantic.
The 35 year old completed the 5000 kilometre Talisker Atlantic Challenge just before midnight.
After 49 days, 11 hours and 37 minutes on the water – he's also become the fastest solo competitor in the history of the race.
