Gaeilgeoirí Descending On Kilkee For Tionóil an Chlár

As Seachtain na Gaeilge continues, efforts to reinvigorate the Irish language on the Loop Head penninsula are ramping up with large numbers of Gaeilgeoirí descending on Kilkee this weekend.

Tionóil an Chlár is taking place at the Stella Maris Hotel in the town with members of Conradh na Gaeilge attending from all over Clare.

The event begins tonight and will conclude with mass as Gaeilge at 6 o’clock tomorrow night in Kilkee, held by the Bishop of Killaloe, Fintan Monahan.
