There's been a further rise in homelessness in Clare.
The latest figures from the Department of Housing show 31 adults were accessing emergency accommodation in the week before Christmas.
In the MidWest as a whole, meanwhile 39 familes – including 86 children – were homeless in the same week.
Each of those figures more than doubled throughout 2016.
Nationally, over 7,000 people are in emergency accommodation for the first time on record.
