The owner of one of North Clare's most prominent businesses is optimistic of further growth.

The Burren Smokehouse has announced a 150,000 euro investment in its facilities, which will see an expansion of its facilities in Lisdoonvarna, as well as the creation of a number of new jobs.
The firm has also entered into a partnership with UPS, that will see its world-famous smoked salmon distributed to customers in Ireland and abroad.
Burren Smokehouse owner Birgitta Hedin-Curtin is hopeful of further growth.
