Ennis Educate Together has been given the green light for the development of a 16 classroom school building with work on seeking a new site already underway.

Yesterday – Scoil na Mainistreach in Quin was informed a major expansion of its premises – involving the development of an 8 classroom project will also proceed.
It comes as government projections show accommodation for growing pupil numbers in the Ennis area will require extra school places by 2012.
Despite the project set to be constructed from scratch -Principal of Ennis Educate Together Sean O Confhaola is confident they can locate a site quickly
