Further Fall In Clare Construction

There’s been another fall in activity in Clare’s housing sector.

The latest National Housing Construction Index shows that planning applications and planning commencements in Clare are both down year on year, with figures worse than the national average.

There’s been a 35% drop in the number of applications, compared to a 19% national fall, while the number of projects getting up and running is down 15%, twice the national figure.
