Funeral Of Tragic West Clare Air Crash Victim Hears Of His ‘Generosity’ And ‘Kindness’ For Others

RIP Michael Flynn

The funeral of a man who tragically lost his life in an aircraft crash in West Clare this week has heard of his ‘generosity’ and ‘kindness’ for others.

Michael ‘Mick’ Flynn, who was in his sixties, passed away after the microlight aircraft he was flying crashed in a field off the Ballard Road in Miltown Malbay on Sunday evening.

He’s being laid to rest in Ballard cemetery this afternoon in his native parish following a funeral mass in St Joseph’s Church.

Parish Priest Fr. Donogh O’ Meara’s been telling the congregation about Mr Flynn’s unseen work in the community.
