The funeral is taking place today of a young father, who died following a stabbing in Kilkee at the weekend.
25-year-old Karl Haugh died in hospital after receiving a stab wound to the back in Marian Housing Estate in the early hours of Sunday morning.
Karl will be laid to rest in Lisdeen Cemetery following 2 o’clock funeral mass in St Senan’s Church, Kilkee.

He’s survived by his mother Bridget, father Joseph and his baby daughter as well as his extended family and friends.
Gardaí are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding his death.
