Funding Sought For Flood Alleviation Works In Dooras

Homeowners in one East Clare community who have been effectively cut-off by flooding since Christmas have been given a reprieve.

Clare County Council is to apply to the Office of Public Works for funding to alleviate issues at Dooras, near O'Callaghans Mills, where some have even been forced to move out of their houses.
