The Entante Floral Steering Committee in Kilrush say 50,000 euro in funding will go a long way towards improving the town's asthetic appeal ahead of the European competition.

Clare County Council has annouced over one million euro in funding for tourism, business and community development projects around the county, fifty thousand of which will go to Kilrush.
Kilrush is representing Ireland in the 'village' category of the european horticultural and environmental competition.
