€305,000 is to be spent on the Disabled Persons Grant Scheme in Clare.
The funding has been announced by Minister Eoghan Murphy, who says it will greatly greatly improve the housing conditions for those living with disabilities.
90 per cent of the funds, or just under 275 thousand euro, is coming from central government while the rest is being contributed by Clare County Council.
