Funding of over 50,000 euro has been allocated to agricultural shows throughout Clare.
Nine shows in the county will benefit from funding of between €5,000 and €6,000 each to support the return of rural activities after the lifting of Covid-19 restrictions.

The succesful shows in this county are Newmarket-on-Fergus, Ennistymon, Kilrush, Corofin, Bridgetown, Kildysart, Clarecastle, Mullagh and Scariff.
More than €313,000 in LEADER programme funding will go to the Irish Shows Association to support the roll out of a National Shows Management software system for use by agricultural and rural shows nationwide.
