It’s full steam ahead for the Killaloe bypass.
Clare County Council has confirmed that works will get underway on the scheme, which is part of the Shannon River Crossing Project, late this year or early next year.
Half a million euro has been allocated towards the aquistion of land for the new infrastructure and the local authority says progress is being made during consultations with landowners on the matter.
