Over ten thousand Clare Households are at risk of fuel poverty.

The figures have been revealed by the Energy Action Charity, ahead of a conference on Long Term Solutions to Fuel Poverty which will be held ahead of the Budget, next month.
The group say the number of households receiving fuel allowances continues to increase, with 10,611 people in receipt of the heating benefit in Clare this year.
