Fresh televised appeal over Poland Ardnacrusha Murder

The family of murder victim Sean Poland who was gunned down at his South East Clare home a decade ago hope a new televised appeal will lead to a breakthrough in the case.

The 39 year old car dealer was shot dead during an armed raid at his home in Blackwater, Ardnacrusha on New Year’s Eve 2002, while his partner was assaulted and tied up.

There have been many arrests over the years and numerous garda appeals but no one has ever been charged with his murder.
