Fresh concerns are being raised about the establishment of a data centre facility in Ennis.
Clare County Council granted the project the green light back in August, though a number of objections mean An Bord Pleanala will make an ultimate decision on its fate in early January.

A climate impact assessment on the works has been included by the project’s developers following concerns raised by objectors, as well the suggestion of a corporate power purchase agreement to offset energy.
Bridget Ginnity of the Ennis branch of the Clare Green Party doesn’t believe it goes far enough.
