Fresh concerns are being raised about whether there are adequate numbers of Gardai serving in county Clare.
This county’s Garda Division currently has the third lowest number of personnel in the country.
There are 310 Gardai assigned to this county as of the end of September.
Clare has one Chief Superintendent, two Superintendents, ten inspectors, 58 sergeants and 239 rank-and-file Gardai.

It’s prompted fresh concern about whether Clare is getting its fair share of Garda recruits coming out of Templemore.
Just 90 people are starting training at the Garda Training College this year, which is a 75 percent drop on last year’s figure.
